The KU Department of Human Resources and Equal Opportunity, assists individuals who feel that they have been discriminated against or unfairly treated because of their age, race, religion, national origin, color, ethnicity, gender, disability, veteran status, marital status, parental status, or sexual orientation, in pursuit of employment or educational opportunities. The office can provide informal mediation as well as facilitating a formal complaint resolution process when requested.
