HR/PAY Training

Navigation, Payroll Forms and Report Training (2 - 1/2 days of training)

This session covers basic navigation, creating payroll forms, and reporting from the HRSA database and DEMIS (UBUD and HR/PAY) system as well as related business processes. This class is 2 -1/2 days and must be taken in the same set/series and is a prerequisite to Time and Leave training. Prerequisite - basic windows navigation either by working knowledge or attending a Windows training session. (Contact Information Services/ Information Technology if you need a basic Windows class.) You must reserve a space by emailing Payroll Services payroll@ku.edu.

  • Part I - November 5, 2008 (Wednesday) 8:00 a.m. to Noon and Part II - November 6, 2008 (Thursday) 8:00 a.m. to Noon
  • Part I - December 3, 2008 (Wednesday) 8:00 a.m. to Noon and Part II - December 4, 2008 (Thursday) 8:00 a.m. to Noon
  • Part I - January 14, 2009 (Wednesday) 8:00 a.m. to Noon and Part II - January 15, 2009 (Thursday) 8:00 a.m. to Noon
  • Time and Leave Training (1/2 day of training)

    This session covers the entry of time and leave into the HRSA database and the rules about leave usage. Prerequisite - Attendance of Navigation, Payroll Forms and Report Training (listed above). You must reserve a space by emailing Payroll Services payroll@ku.edu.

  • Training is held in room 31 of Carruth-O'Leary Hall - Administration & Finance Training Room. If you wanting to attend as a refresher course the prerequisites do not apply and you are not required to take the Navigation etc. in the same set/series. If the class is full, preference is given to those who are attending for the first time.
