Guidelines for Awarding USS Merit

If you supervise and recommend merit increases for university support staff (USS), you may find the following workshop helpful. Human Resources and Equal Opportunity (HR/EO) will offer a 1 hour workshop on handling the USS merit increase process. The workshop will include information about the allocation process for merit funds, the criteria utilized for merit, how the merit process relates to annual performance evaluations, and will include a merit increase recommendation exercise.
