Who should attend search training? Anyone who chairs a search committee, department/school recruitment coordinators and search committee members. You should attend training whether the full training or just an update every two years as best practices and needs may change fairly frequently. If the scheduled training sessions are not convenient, we are available to provide training either to the entire search committees or individuals. Our Power Point presentation provides instruction for completing Faculty and Academic Staff search forms. Of course, feel free to consult with HR/EO at any time regarding any issues that arise during a search.
To obtain system access for staff searches you should attend PeopleAdmin training.
Training on issues of Diversity, Sexual Harassment and Racial and Ethnic and Disability Discrimination as well as other employment laws and their application to employees and supervisors and managers are available by request.
